Senior .NET Application Developer

Overview:
A growing international business consulting company that works with many Fortune 500 client organizations is seeking an experienced software application developer. The main responsibility will be to create and support .NET 2.0 data-driven web applications and maintain existing applications in a small, collaborative team setting. Applicant should have at least 8 years software development experience and be able to take responsibility for an entire application. Ideal candidate will know how to rapidly develop new applications, estimate and meet project deadlines and make decisions about when to use 3rd party tools/controls versus developing custom code.

Required skills:
• Strong experience with .NET 2.0 framework (AJAX-enabled) (C# and/or VB language).
• Particular experience with database controls and forms.
• Experience writing and using SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Good understanding of relational database concepts.
• HTML/CSS expertise.
• Cl***ic ASP/JavaScript experience.
• Production (automated) reporting experience using SQL Reporting Services, Access, Crystal Reports, Excel or similar.
• Ability to create attractive, intuitive, user-friendly web interface.
• Applications need to support non-English language interface and reports.
• Experience creating data-driven web applications.
• Experience creating desktop applications with Delphi, VB or other non-.NET languages.

Prefer experience with:
• Knowledge of statistics and survey research.
• Delphi (Pascal) language.
• Experience with 3rd party .NET controls (e.g., Telerik, Infragistics).

Ann Arbor, MI location. Contract-to-hire and direct hire options available. Salary with bonus up to 90K.
