Windows Application Developer (contract)
Overview:
The engineer hired for this position will help update existing Microsoft Windows application software.

Required skills:
• Experience designing and developing multi-component Windows systems in the C++ programming language
• Experience using Microsoft Windows development tools (Visual Studio, etc.)
• Experience implementing graphical user interfaces in C++
• Experience with COM Interfaces
• Ability to write low-level design documents in good technical English
• Ability to interact with customers as needed

Prefer experience with:
• Experience developing build systems comprising both a variety of off the shelf tools and locally built tools targeting multiple platforms
• Experience working with Windows device drivers and the Windows DDK
• Experience with Visual Basic 6, C#, and Perl
• Microsoft .Net experience
• Experience working with graphic elements such as bitmaps and the tools used to create them such as Adobe Photoshop

Work to be performed at Metro Detroit location. Travel up to 10%. Rate commensurate with experience (up to 50/hr)
