Team Lead - COBOL
Our client is currently seeking a Team Lead for their  Operations applications. This person will work within the ITS arena to lead projects through their entirety and leverage requirements with project objectives and timelines for their customers.

The Team Lead will be responsible for leading project teams in the development of .Net applications within DB2 and SQL in support of requirements and changes requested by operations customers. In addition, the Team Lead will work with a cross-functional team to effectively negotiate technical and business requirements.
 
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of development experience with .Net along with SQL and DB2 databases. A strong technical knowledge paired with leadership experience in managing the successful development of operations applications in a fast-paced technical environment will contribute to the candidate’s success in this position.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline is required (equivalent experience may be taken into consideration)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in applications development, specifically within .Net and relational databases
  • Experience leading teams and projects to successful completion within a technical environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience improving processes and supporting new technologies required to enhance the overall IT structure within the organization
  • Ability to provide support cross-functionally and work cohesively within a team environment
 
Additional experience with COBOL is highly desired.
 
This position is 80% development and 20% project management.
